These 'En plein air' oil paintings contained here are done directly from life. Often standing on a busy street corner in hot sunshine, a muddy spot in a forest or on a very windy coastline with the wind tugging at the easel!
Typically done over a two hour period in one sitting, they are mainly in a 12 x 10" format on mounting board though occasionally some are done on 14 x 7.5" sized board.
